overnight recovery

Well I am finally sufficiently recovered from my overnight alone with Annie to have the where with all to send a note. That little girl kept me hopping. One time I left her in her 'safe' play room to deliver the folded clothes. Keeping a sharp ear out I heard her yell, 'stuck'. The sound of a crash rose to meet me flying down the stairs. Kate had left a box of rummage sale purchases on a shelf in the hall closet that Annie had migrated to from the play room. Obviously there was not enough room for Annie to squeeze by without toppling the glassware. No harm done (I hear there's a running bill going for Annie's unplanned expenses). She had a great time playing with a friend of Ruth's 4 year old boy who was the nicest playmate. We decided alot of people have bigger toys than us. I don't feel too bad because Annie just thinks they're all 'scarry' anyway. Today Kels and Annie met me for lunch. As I walked in, Annie ran (really fast) to me with her arms outstretched and a huge grin on her face. It ended with a huge hug and an 'I love you too' before I even said I loved her! Says all letter sounds through 'M' now but 'H' is her absolute favorite! She loves the D 'da for daddy' and 'mmmmmmm' for mommy' and today all by herself she said 'L, made the l sound and 'lollipop!' Too smart! Ruth
